For the 1st time this year, out Big Gainer of the Week this week is someone who didn't win a tournament this week. Juan Monaco was unseeded at Buenos Aires, and pulled off some upsets on his way to the final, but Rafael Nadal was too strong for him, beating him in the final. Juan gained 38 ELO points this week, which led to him climbing a massive 147 places in the rankings to a new ranking of #59!
Our Upset player of the Week this week is Donald Young. After making the final last week, his 1st round loss to qualifier Ryan Harrison just wasn't good enough. This led to him losing 12 ELO points and falling 4 places in the rankings to #26.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Alexandr Dolgopolov, Ryan Harrison, Borna Coric, Nicolas Almagro and Blaz Rola.
