Men's ELO Rankings 16/05/2016

This week, most of the top players on the ATP World Tour took part on a tournament in Rome, as they prepare for the French Open.

The Big Gainer of the week award this week goes to Andy Murray. He entered Rome as the 2nd seed, and he won the tournament, defeating the ELO #1 Novak Djokovic in the final. This title gave Andy 30 ELO rating points, and he re-takes the ELO #2 spot from Roger Federer, 151 points behind the #1 spot.

This week's Upset player of the week is Gael Monfils. Most of the seeds did relatively well this week, but the worst performer this week has to be Gael, who lost his 1st match. This loss cost him 15 ELO rating points, and he falls 2 places in my rankings to #16.

Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Lucas Pouille, Thomaz Bellucci, Stephane Robert and Mikhail Kukushkin
