Men's ELO Rankings 15/10/2018

A large ATP tournament was held this week, in Shanghai, as the top players prepare for the ATP Finals later this year.

This week's Player of the week is Borna Coric. He was the 13th seed at Shanghai, and after defeating Juan Martin del Potro, he made it all the way to the final of the tournament, defeating Roger Federer before losing to Novak Djokovic. This run gave Borna 51 ELO rating points, which sees him climb 6 places in my rankings to 17.

This week's Upset player of the week is Milos Raonic. The 14th seed at the tournament lost his 1st round match to qualifier Mackenzie McDonald. This loss cost Milos ELO rating points, losing 2 places in my rankings to #12.

Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Nicolas Jarry, Matthew Ebden and Marco Cecchinato.
