Roland Garros Predictions - Final

Last round I got all 4 of the semi-finals right, though I'm guessing so did a lot of others who are predicting winners. It's now time for the most important matches of them all, THE FINAL!

I will do a summary of how my predictions have done once the final is over. Click on "Grand Slam predictions" to see them all.

For the Women's Final, I'm taking Serena Williams over Lucie Safarova, and for the Men's Final, I'm going to take Novak Djokovic over Stanislas Wawrinka. I'd be surprised if something else happened, as neither of the losers are highly rated enough for me to think they have a real chance.

Roland Garros Predictions - Semi Finals

I apologise for putting this up late, the one for the finals will be put up early, I promise. The lateness of this post has had no effect on my predictions.

How did I do last round?

Men's - 2/4
Women's - 3/4

There isn't much I can say about this, an average performance, that was to be expected. I was hoping for better, but sometimes you get unlucky.

Now, for the semi-final predictions. I predict wins for Djokovic, Wawrinka, Safarova and Williams.

Roland Garros Predictions - Quarter Finals

How did I do last round?

Men's - 7/8
Women's - 3/7 (ignoring the match that was a tie in my books)

Sometimes, stuff happens that nobody expects. This is what I think happened this round in the Women's Singles. With 8 matches and how close some of them were, there was always a decent chance that I would get 4 of them wrong. There have been a lot of upsets in the Women's game, and while I predicted some of them, I missed a few others and some of them were completely unpredictable. My system did better in the Men's, but I'm out of the Drop Out there because the results were easy to predict, and I messed up on my gut feeling score predictions.

Now, for my Quarter final predictions. This is where the competition gets really interesting.
