The 8 tennis players who will be playing the ATP World Tour Finals, coloured by the group they are in, along with their ELO ratings are:
- Andy Murray - 2001
- Novak Djokovic - 1988
- Kei Nishikori - 1816
- Marin Cilic - 1770
- Milos Raonic - 1768
- Stan Wawrinka - 1763
- Gael Monfils - 1740
- Dominic Thiem - 1700
The new ELO #1 Andy Murray is the favourite in his group to qualify, but he has been slightly unlucky with the draw, as he has the #3 and #4 ranked players in his group. One of these 3 players will be going out earlier than expected. Nishikori is more likely to get to the semi finals than Cilic or Wawrinka, the latter 2 only separated by 7 points.
Last year's champion Novak Djokovic must be happier with his group, as he's the overwhelming favourite to make it to the semi finals, as he has 200+ ELO rating points over his competition. It's likely to be extremely close between the other 3, but Raonic is the slight favourite according to ELO.
Best of luck to all of the players who made it to the ATP World Tour Finals, and may the best player win!
