Men's ELO Rankings 16/04/2018

We're back with an update 2 weeks later, after the Davis Cup meant a break from the ATP World Tour. I now look at what happened this week, in the 2 tournaments held in Houston and Marrakesh.

This week's Player of the Week is Pablo Andujar. Unseeded at Marrakech, his comeback is underway as he won the whole tournament, defeating Kyle Edmund in the final. This tournament gave Pablo 65 ELO rating points, and he moves up 46 places in my rankings to #96.

The Upset player of the week award this week goes to Fernando Verdasco. He was he 5th seed at Houston, but lost in the 1st round to qualifier Denis Kudla. This loss meant that Fernando lost 15 ELO rating points, and he fell 4 places in my rankings to #36.

Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Steve Johnson, Tennys Sandgren and Alexey Vatutin,
