Men's ELO Rankings 14/10/2019

The Shanghai Masters was held on the ATP Tour this week, with many of the top players there in preparation for the end of season ATP Finals. Let's take a look at what happened there.

This week's Player of the week is Alexander Zverev. He was the 5th seed at Shanghai, and he made it to the final by beating Roger Federer and Matteo Berrettini before losing to Daniil Medvedev. This preformance earned Alexander 31 ELO rating points, and he moves up 3 places in my rankings to #8.

This week's Upset player of the week is Diego Schwartzman. He was the 14th seed, but lost in round 1 to a qualifier. This means that Diego loses 16 ELO rating points, and he moves down 6 places in my rankings to #22.

Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Vasek Pospisil, and that's it.
