This week's Player of the week is Casper Ruud. He was the 3rd seed at Milan, and he made it to the final of the tournament, with 2 wins in the group stage and a win over Andrey Rublev in the semi finals, before losing to ELO #1 Novak Djokovic. These results combine to result in a gain of 22 ELO rating points for Casper, and he climbs up 2 places in my rankings to #10.
This week's Upset player of the week is Daniil Medvedev. The 4th seed at this week's tournament was the only player to lose all 3 of his group stage matches, These losses cost Daniil a total of 28 ELO rating points, and he falls 1 place in my rankings to #5.
Other players who gained in ELO this week are Novak Djokovic, Andrey Rublev and Taylor Fritz.
