Men's ELO Rankings 08/02/2016

After the Australian Open finished last week, 3 tournaments were held this week on the ATP World Tour, in Montpellier, Sofia and Quito.

The Big Gainer of the week award this week goes to Victor Estrella Burgos. Playing in Quito, he was the 5th seed here, and won the tournament with a win over 3rd seed Thomaz Bellucci in the final. His victories gave Victor 53 ELO rating points, and he climbs 36 places in my rankings to a new ranking of #46!

This week's Upset player of the week award is awarded to Gael Monfils. He was the 5th seed at Montpellier, but lost in the 1st round to fellow Frenchman Edouard Roger-Vasselin. This loss cost Gael 15 ELO rating points, and sees him fall 1 place in my rankings to a new ranking of #20

Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Alexander Zverev, Dustin Brown, Paul-Henri Mathieu, Albert Ramos-Vinolas and Paolo Lorenzi.
