Men's ELO Rankings 03/07/2017

Wimbledon is starting next week, and I shall be posting some predictions for the tournament tomorrow, but before then, let's look at how last week ended up. There were 2 tournaments this week, in Eastbourne and Antalya.

This week's Big Gainer of the week is Yuichi Sugita. He won the tournament in Antalya despite entering it unseeded, by defeating David Ferrer, among other players on his way to the title. These wins gave Yuichi 55 ELO rating points, which sees him move up 32 places in my rankings to #60

The Upset player of the week award this week goes to Dominic Thiem. He was the top seed at Antalya, and lost his opening match to qualifier Ramkumar Ramanathan, a player not ranked on my list. This loss cost Dominic 17 ELO rating points, and he falls 1 place in my rankings to #8.

Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Daniil Medvedev, Adrian Mannarino, Andreas Seppi and Daniel Altmaier.
