2019 French Open Final Update

It's time for the final of the French Open, and we're about to crown the winners of the second Grand Slam of the year! But before the matches start, let's take a look at some stats I calculated for the top 150 players after the jump:

Men's Rank± ELO
1-1057
11-2055
21-5031
51-100-34
101-150-103

Women's Rank± ELO
1-10-33
11-2020
21-5036
51-1008
101-15012

The winners for the Men were the top 10 players, thanks to Rafael Nadal, Dominic Thiem and Kei Nishikori, while the losers were the 101-150 group, despite a good performance from Jordan Thompson. For the Women, the best performers were the 21-50 group with finalist Marketa Vondrousova and Amanda Anisimova performing strongly, on the other hand, the top 10 group did badly here, with Ashleigh Barty the only player in the top 10 to gain more than a few ELO this tournament.

The Women's numbers will change after the final, as Ashleigh Barty is in the top 10 while Marketa Vondrousova is in the 21-50 group. The Men's numbers will stay the same as both finalists are in the top 10.

Now, my final ELO ratings and estimated percentage chances of winning:

#NameELOR1 %
2Dominic Thiem183127.77%
1Rafael Nadal199872.23%

1Ashleigh Barty185366.30%
