This week's Player of the week is Carlos Alcaraz. He was the 7th seed at Rio, and won the tournament there, with wins over Matteo Berrettini and Diego Schwartzman in the final This title earned Carlos 43 ELO rating points, and he climbs 12 places in my rankings to #18.
This week's Upset player of the week is Stefanos Tsitsipas. The top seed at Marseille made it to the quarterfinals before losing to unranked qualifier Roman Safiulin. These results mean that Stefanos lost 14 ELO rating points, but he stays at #6 in my rankings.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Arthur Rinderknech, Fabio Fognini, John Millman, Lucas Pouille and Benjamin Bonzi.
