The past 2 weeks saw one of the larger tournaments that isn't a Grand Slam, so let's review what happened at Shanghai on the ATP tour.

This week's Player of the week is Fabian Marozsan. He made it to the quarter finals of the tournament, defeating Alex De Minaur and Casper Ruud among others before losing to eventual champion Hubert Hurkacz. These results gave Fabian 46 ELO rating points, and he has now just about played enough matches on tour to enter my rankings at #63.
This week's Upset player of the week is Alexander Zverev. The 9th seed at Shanghai, like all the seeds, had a bye to round 2, but he lost his opening match to Roman Safiullin. This loss meant that Alexander lost 17 ELO rating points, and he falls 1 place in my rankings to #6.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Ugo Humbert, Ben Shelton, JJ Wolf, Zhang Zhizhen and Diego Schwartzman.
