We're near the end of the women's tennis season, but there were still three tournaments held on the WTA Tour this week, in Zhengzhou, Hong Kong and Seoul.

This week's Player of the week is Yuan Yue. She played in Seoul and made it to the final of that tournament, defeating Marie Bouzkova among others before losing to Jessica Pegula. These results gave Yue 47 ELO rating points, and she has now played enough matches on the tour to enter my rankings at #112.
This week's Upset player of the week is Jelena Ostapenko. Also at Seoul, she was the 2nd seed there, but she lost in the first round to local wildcard Back Da-Yeon. This loss cost Jelena 17 ELO rating points, and she falls 3 places in my rankings to #14.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Leylah Fernandez, Katerina Siniakova, Anna Blinkova, Martina Trevisan and Yanina Wickmayer.
