The 8 tennis players who will be playing the ATP World Tour Finals, coloured by the group they are in, along with their ELO ratings are:
- Novak Djokovic - 1967
- Roger Federer - 1839
- Andy Murray - 1837
- Rafael Nadal - 1763
- Stan Wawrinka - 1753
- David Ferrer - 1749
- Tomas Berdych - 1738
- Kei Nishikori - 1724
With the #1 so far ahead of the others, you could call this a foregone conclusion, but anything can happen, and the fight for the top 4 will be a close one.
Novak Djokovic is ELO's favourite by a huge margin, but he was unlucky enough to be drawn with the #2 Roger Federer. It shouldn't affect either of them making it to the semi finals, as they were also drawn with the #7 and #8 players, whom they are over 100 ELO rating points ahead of.
As for the other group, this one's the close one and shoule be more competitive. Andy Murray is the favourite but the others are close enough that it's difficult to predict who will go through to the semis. Rafael Nadal is the favourite, but he's only 10 ELO rating points above Wawrinka, it's too close to call!
Best of luck to all of the players who made it to the ATP World Tour Finals, and may the best player win!
