Men's ELO Rankings 27/08/2018

The final week before the US Open happened this week with a tournament in Winston-Salem, find out after the jump what happened and for my latest ELO rankings.

The Player of the week award this week goes to Daniil Medvedev. He won this week's tournament, defeating Alex de Minaur and Steve Johnson on his way to the title. This title earned Daniil 55 ELO rating points, and he gains 17 places in my rankings to #31.

This week's Upset player of the week is Sam Querrey. He was the 9th seed and thus got a bye to round 2, but he lost his opening match. This loss cost Sam 13 ELO rating points, and he falls 3 places in my rankings to #38.

Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Ryan Harrison, Taro Daniel and Roberto Carballes Baena.
