2019 US Open Final Update

It's time for the final of the US Open, and we're about to crown the winners of the final Grand Slam of the year! But before the matches start, let's take a look at some stats I calculated for the top 150 players after the jump:

Men's Rank± ELO
1-10-27
11-2028
21-5022
51-100-59
101-15029

Women's Rank± ELO
1-1027
11-2045
21-5034
51-100-77
101-150-25

Bianca Andreescu was ranked #11 before the tournament started, so the Women's numbers will change, but the Men's will stay the same.

The overall winners for the Men were the 101-150 group, thanks Alexei Popyrin, Denis Kudla and Paolo Lorenzi and others; while the losers were the 51-100 group, despite a good performance from Pablop Andujar. For the Women, the best performers were the 11-20 group with Johanna Konta and Belinda Bencic performing strongly with finalist Andreescu; on the other hand, the 51-100 group did badly here, with nobody in this group making it to the 2nd week of the tournament.

Now, my final ELO ratings and estimated percentage chances of winning:

#NameELOWin %
1Rafael Nadal202974.24%
2Daniil Medvedev184525.76%
