Men's ELO Rankings 09/09/2019

Over the past 2 weeks, the final Grand Slam of the year, the US Open, was held in New York. Let's see who did well here (and who didn't), and my latest rankings, after the jump.

This week's Player of the tournament is Grigor Dimitrov. Unseeded at the tournament, he made it to the semi finals with wins over Borna Coric and Roger Federer before losing to Daniil Medvedev. These results mean that Grigor gains 47 ELO rating points, and he moves up 12 places in my rankings to #28.

This week's Upset player of the tournament is Dominic Thiem. The 4th seed however, ended up losing in the 1st round to Thomas Fabbiano. This loss cost Dominic 18 ELO rating points, and he moves down 1 place in my rankings to #6.

Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Daniel Evans, Pablo Andujar, Tennys Sandgren, Alexei Popyrin and Denis Kudla.
