Men's ELO Rankings 26/08/2019

We're in the week before the US Open, and some of the players on the ATP Tour played in a warm-up tournament in Winston-Salem.

This week's Player of the week is Hubert Hurkacz. He was the 3rd seed at Winston-Salem, and won the whole tournament by beating Benoit Paire in the final. This tournament led to Hubert gaining 49 ELO rating points, and he moves up 17 places in my rankings to #36.

This week's Upset player of the week is Andy Murray. His comeback is going from bad to worse, as he lost in round 1 to Tennys Sandgren. This loss cost Andy 17 ELO rating points, but he stays at #7 in my rankings.

Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Steve Johnson, and that's it.
