This week's Player of the week is Karen Khachanov. He made it to the final of Tokyo with wins over Diego Schwartzman, Ugo Humbert and Pablo Carreno Busta before losing to Alexander Zverev. These results led to Karen earning 41 ELO rating points, and he moves up 11 places in my rankings to #21
This week's Upset player of the week is Novak Djokovic. The top seed at the Olympics and ELO #1 lost in both the semi finals and the bronze medal match to Alexander Zverev and Pablo Carreno Busta. These led to Novak losing 24 ELO rating points, and he is now only 2 points above the #2 ranked player.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Brandon Nakashima, Arthur Rinderknech, Pedro Martinez. Emil Ruusuvuori and Daniel Altmaier.
