This week's Player of the week is Benoit Paire. He was unseeded at Cincinnati, and defeated the Upset player of the week below on his way to the quarter finals, where he lost to Andrey Rublev. This run earned Benoit 39 ELO rating points, and he climbs 27 places in my rankings to #89.
This week's Upset player of the week is Denis Shapovalov. The 6th seed had a bye to round 2, where he lost to the player who went on to be the Player of the week (see above). This led to Denis losing 15 ELO rating points, and he moves down 6 places in my rankings to #27.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Guido Pella, and that's it.
