This week's Player of the week is Mackenzie McDonald. Unseeded at Washington, he made it to the final by defeating Benoit Paire among others before losing to Jannik Sinner. These results led to Mackenzie earning 55 ELO rating points, moving him up 34 places in my rankings to #64.
This week's Upset player of the week is Rafael Nadal. He had a bye to round 2, and won his opening match, but then he lost his round 3 match. These combine to a loss of 17 ELO points, moving him a bit further away from the ELO #1 spot.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Lloyd Harris, Steve Johnson, Denis Kudla and Jenson Brooksby.
