As we enter the final few months of the tennis season, there were 2 small tournaments held this week, in Luxembourg and Portoroz.

This week's Player of the week is Jasmine Paolini. She entered the tournament in Portoroz, and defeated the Upset player of the week (see below), and also beat Sorana Cirstea and Yulia Putintseva before defeating Alison Riske in the final. This title earned Jasmine 62 ELO rating points, and she climbs 35 places in my rankings to #92.
This week's Upset player of the week is Dayana Yastremska. She was the 6th seed at Portoroz, but retired from her 1st round match to the player who went on to be this week's Player of the week (see above). This loss meant that Dayana lost 13 ELO rating points, and she re-enters my rankings at #57.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Liudmila Samsonova, Clara Tauson and Alison Riske.
