The Player of the week for this week is Hugo Gaston. He qualified in to this week's tournament, and made it to the quarter finals, defeating Pablo Carreno Busta among others before losing to Daniil Medvedev. These results earned Hugo 36 ELO rating points, which would see him ranked at #56 in my rankings if he were more active on the tour.
This week's Upset player of the week is Stefanos Tsitsipas. He was the 3rd seed at Paris and had a bye to round 2, where he lost to a lucky loser. This loss meant that Stefanos lost 17 ELO rating points, but he stays at #6 in my rankings.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Alexei Popyrin and James Duckworth.
