Men's ELO Rankings 22/03/2021

With the ATP Tour preparing for next week's tournament in Miami, there were 2 tournaments held this week in preparation for it, in Dubai and Acapulco.

The Player of the week this week is Aslan Karatsev. He received a wildcard in to Dubai, and won the whole tournament there, beating Daniel Evans, Lorenzo Sonego, Jannik Sinner and Andrey Rublev on his way to the title. These wins earned Aslan 73 ELO rating points, and he climbs 27 places in my rankings to #37.

This week's Upset player of the week is Dominic Thiem. Also at Dubai, he was the top seed, but after eceiving a bye to round 2, ended up losing his opening match to a qualifier. This loss cost Dominic 18 ELO rating points, but he stays at #5 in my rankings.

Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Lloyd Harris, Lorenzo Musetti and Dominik Koepfer.
