This week's Player of the week award goes to Carlos Alcaraz. The 7th seed at Umag won the tournament, defeating Filip Krajinovic, Albert Ramos Vinolas and Richard Gasquet in the final. These results mean that Carlos earned 52 ELO rating points, moving him up 24 places in my rankings to #52.
This week's Upset player of the week award goes to Denis Shapovalov. The top seed at Gstaad had a bye to round 2, but then lost to qualifier Vit Kopriva. This loss cost Denis 15 ELO rating points, and he falls 5 places in my rankings to #21.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Hugo Gaston, Arthur Rinderknech and Mikael Ymer.
