Over the past 2 weeks, the 3rd Grand Slam of the year, Wimbledon took place. There was also a WTA tournament held in Hamburg last week. Let's see how those tournaments affected my ratings and rankings.

The Player of the week for the 2 weeks is Viktorija Golubic. She beat Veronika Kudermetova and Madison Keys on her way to the Wimbledon quarter finals, where she lost to Karolina Pliskova. This run led to Viktoria earning 43 ELO rating points, and she moves up 28 places in my rankings to #60. Special mention to Elena-Gabriela Ruse for winning the other tournament, and over both weeks she gained 64 ELO rating points and would be ranked #92 if she had more WTA level experience
The Upset player of the week for the 2 weeks is Serena Williams. The 6th seed at Wimbledon retired from her 1ts round match against Aliaksandra Sasnovich. This meant that Serena lost 16 ELO rating points, but she stays at #5 in my rankings. Another dishonourable mention goes to Astra Sharma for losing her opening match in the other tournament, which meant that over both weeks, she lost 24 ELO rating points and 13 places to #103.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Liudmila Samsonova, Ajla Tomljanovic, Andrea Petkovic, Jule Niemeier and Emma Raducanu.
