This week's Player of the week is Yoshihito Nishioka. Unseeded at Washington, he made it all the way to the final there, defeating Alex de Minaur, Karen Khachanov, Daniel Evans and Andrey Rublev before losing to Nick Kyrgios. These results combine to give Yoshihito 68 ELO rating points, and he climbs 38 places in my rankings to #68.
This week's Upset player of the week is Hubert Hurkacz. The 2nd seed at Washington had a bye to round 2, where he lost to Emil Ruusuvuori. This loss meant that Hubert lost 15 ELO rating points, but he stays at #13 in my rankings.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Ricardas Berankis and Radu Albot.
