The last Grand Slam of the year, the US Open, starts tomorrow, and I will share my predictions for it shortly, but before then, let's look back at this week's tournaments, in Granby and Cleveland.

This week's Player of the week is Liudmila Samsonova. She was unseeded at Cleveland, and won the title there, defeating Aliaksandra Sasnovich in the final. This title meant that Liudmila earned 45 ELO rating points, and she climbs 15 places in my rankings to #35.
This week's Upset player of the week is Ekaterina Alexandrova. The 3rd seed at Cleveland won her 1st round match before losing in round 2. These results combine to mean that Ekaterina lost 12 ELO rating points, and she falls 3 places in my rankings to 25.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Diane Parry, Madison Brengle and Nuria Parrizas Diaz.
