This week's Player of the week is Borna Coric. He got in to the tournament with his protected ranking, and went on to win the whole tournament, defeating this week's Upset player of the week (see below), Roberto Bautista Agut, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Cameron Norrie and Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final. These wins gave Borna a HUGE 81 ELO rating points, moving him up 17 places in my rankings to #23.
This week's Upset player of the week is Rafael Nadal. The 2nd seed at Cincinnati had a bye to round 2, where he lost to the player who went on to be this week's Player of the week (see above). This loss cost Rafael 18 ELO rating points, and he loses the ELO #1 spot to Novak Djokovic.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are nobody.
