This week's Player of the week is Taylor Fritz. He was the 3rd seed at Tokyo, and won the tournament there with wins over Nick Kyrgios, Denis Shapovalov and Frances Tiafoe in the final. These wins gave Taylor 37 ELO rating points, moving him up 2 places in my rankings to #13.
This week's Upset player of the week is Carlos Alcaraz. The top seed at Astana lost his 1st round match to lucky loser David Goffin. This loss cost Carlos 17 ELO rating points, but he stays at #4 in my rankings.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Kwon Soon-Woo, and that's it.
