He entered the tournament in Florence, and he made it to the final, with wins over Maxime Cressy and Alexander Bublik among others, before losing to Felix Auger-Aliassime. These results earned Jeffrey John 38 ELO rating points, and he climbs 16 places in my rankings to #61.
This week's Upset player of the week is Matteo Berrettini. Also at Florence, the 2nd seed received a bye to round 2, where he lost his opening match. This loss cost Matteo 18 ELO rating points, and he falls 3 places in my rankings to #11.
