The final regularly scheduled tournament of the 2022 WTA season was held this week, and it was the last chance for players to qualify for the WTA Finals, so let's see what happened at the large tournament in Guadalajara.

This week's Player of the week is Jessica Pegula. She was the 3rd seed at the tournament, and won this week's only title, thanks to a win over Maria Sakkari in the final. This title earned Jessica 38 ELO rating points, and she climbs 1 place in my rankings to #3.
This week's Upset player of the week is Barbora Krejcikova. The 9th seed at Guadalajara however, lost in her 1st round match. This loss meant that Barbora lost 16 ELO rating points, and she falls 4 places in my rankings to #12.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Victoria Azarenka, Marie Bouzkova, Anna Kalinskaya and Martina Trevisan.
