This week's Player of the week is Alex De Minaur. He was unseeded at Toronto, and made it to the final of the tournament thanks to wins over Cameron Norrie, Taylor Fritz and Daniil Medvedev before losing to Jannik Sinner. These results gave Alex 39 ELO rating points, and he climbs 5 places in my rankings to #13.
This week's Upset player of the week is Andrey Rublev. He was the 6th seed at this week's tournament, where he had a bye to round 1, but then went on to lose his opening match. This loss clost Andrey 16 ELO rating points, and he falls 1 place in my rankings to #7.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, Mackenzie McDonald, Marcos Giron and Aleksandar Vukic.
