2018 Australian Open Semi Finals Update
The quarter finals of the Australian Open finished earlier today, so let's take a look at how that impacted my rankings of the players still in.
The current leaders in the Player of the tournament awards are Chung Hyeon (+58) and Elise Mertens (+46). Both players are still in so their destiny is in their hands.
For the men, Kyle Edmund will win the award if he does better than Chung does, Chung wins if he does better than Edmund does, or if Federer beats Cilic in the final, and Cilic wins if he beats Federer in the final. The women's is simpler, if Kerber does better than Mertens does, then Kerber wins, otherwise Mertens wins.
