Men's ELO Rankings 19/03/2018

2 weeks after the last rankings update, the tournament in Indian Wells has finished. Let's take a look at what happened there.

This week's Player of the Week is Borna Coric. He was unseeded at Indian Wells, and made it to the semi finals, defeating Roberto Bautista Agut and Kevin Amnderson among others. This run gave Borna 52 ELO rating points, and he gains 17 places in my rankings to #32.

The Upset player of the week award this week goes to Novak Djokovic. He was the 10th seed at the tournament, but lost his opening match after getting a bye to round 2. This defeat meant that Novak lost 19 ELO rating points, but he stays ranked #2 in my rankings, but is now only 8 points above 3rd place Rafael Nadal.

Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Taylor Fritz, Jeremy Chardy, Pierre-Hugues Herbert, Taro Daniel and Yuki Bhambri.
