This week's Player of the week award goes to Lorenzo Sonego. He made it to the semi finals this week, defeating Gael Monfils, Dominic Thiem and Andrey Rublev before losing to Novak Djokovic. These results led to Lorenzo gaining 49 ELO rating point, and he climbs 16 places in my rankings to #30.
The Upset player of the week this week is Daniil Medvedev. He was the 3rd seed at Rome, but he lost in round 2 to fellow Russian Aslan Karatsev. This loss cost Daniil 15 ELO rating points, and he falls 2 places in my rankings to #6.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Reilly Opelka and Federico Delbonis.
