The Player of the week this week is Barbora Krejcikova. She won this week's tournament in Strasbourg as the 5th seed, with wins over Ekaternia Alexandrova among others. This title led to Barbora earning 44 ELO rating points, and she moves up 13 places in my rankings to #27.
This week's Upset player of the week award goes to Jessica Pegula. The 2nd seed at Strasbourg lost in round 1 to Arantxa Rus. This loss meant that Jessica lost 16 ELO rating points, moving her down 2 places in my rankings to #19.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Magda Linette, and that's it.
