The Player of the week this week is Nikoloz Basilashvili. He won the tournament in Munich as the 5th seed, defeating Casper Ruud among others. These wins led to Nikoloz earning 51 ELO rating points, and he climbs 20 places in my rankings to #52.
The Upset player of the week this week is Alexander Zverev. He was the top seed at Munich and won his round 2 match, but then lost in the quarter finals to a qualifier. These combine to a loss of 14 ELO rating points for Alexander, but he stays at #8 in my rankings.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Albert Ramos-Vinolas, Jan-Lennard Struff, Ilya Ivashka and Marco Cecchinato.
