The Player of the week for this week is Frances Tiafoe. He qualified for Vienna, and made it to the final by defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas, Diego Schwartzman and Jannik Sinner before losing to Alexander Zverev. These results led to Frances earning 45 ELO rating points, moving him up 13 places in my rankings to #27.
This week's Upset player of the week is Pablo Carreno Busta. Also at Vienna, he was unseeded there, but he lost his 1st round match to Nikoloz Basilashvili. This loss meant that Pablo lost 14 ELO rating points, but he stays at #13 in my rankings.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Botic van de Zandschulp, Jan-Lennard Struff and Carlos Alcaraz.
