Over the past 2 weeks, the Indian Wells tournament was held, so let's look at how the results there affected my ratings and rankings.

The Player of the week for the 2 weeks is Paula Badosa. She was the 21st seed at Indian Wells, and won the tournament there, defeating Coco Gauff, Barbora Krejcikova, Angelique Kerber, Ons Jabeur and Victoria Azarenka in the final. These wins earned Paula 65 ELO rating points, and she moves up 12 places in my rankings to #15.
The Upset player of the week for the 2 weeks is Garbine Muguruza. The 5th seed had a bye to round 2, but then she lost in her opening match. This loss cost Garbine 16 ELO rating points, and she falls 1 place in my rankings to #5.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Ajla Tomljanovic, Aliaksandra Sasnovich, Viktorija Golubic, Anna Kalinskaya and Beatriz Haddad Maia.
