The Player of the week for this week is Ann Li. She won the tournament in Tenerife as an unseeded player, defeating 5 other unseeded players on her way to the title. These wins earned Ann 48 ELO rating points, moving her up 26 places in my rankings to #50.
This week's Upset player of the week is Elina Svitolina. Also in Tenerife, she was the top seed there, but lost her first round match. This loss meant that Elina lost 16 ELO rating points, moving her down 3 places in my rankings to #13.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Camila Osorio and Arantxa Rus.
