Men's ELO Rankings 28/09/2020

The French Open has already started, but before we go to our round-by-round updates for the Grand Slam, we have to catch up on the events that happend this week, in Hamburg.

This week's Player of the week award goes to Andrey Rublev. He was the 5th seed at Hamburg, and won this week's tournament with wins over Roberto Bautista Agut and Stafanos Tsitsipas in the final. This title earned Andrey 38 ELO rating points, and he moves up 1 place in my rankings to #9.

This week's Upset player of the week is Gael Monfils. The 3rd seed lost his 1st round match to wildcard Yannick Hanfmann. This loss cost Gael 16 ELO rating points, and he moves down 2 places in my rankings to #11.

Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Dusan Lajovic, and that's it.
