This week's Player of the week is Linda Noskova. She qualified for the tournament in Adelaide and made it all the way to the final, with wins over the Upset player of the week (see below) and Ons Jabeur before losing to Aryna Sabalenka. These results gave Linda 54 ELO rating points, which would see her ranked at #66 if she weren't so new to the tour.
This week's Upset player of the week is Daria Kasatkina. The 3rd seed at the tournament lost her 1st round match to the player who went on to be this week's Player of the week (see above). This loss cost Daria 16 ELO rating points, and she falls 3 places in my rankings to #18.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Irina-Camelia Begu, Danka Kovinic and Ysaline Bonaventure.
