This week's Player of the week is Joao Sousa. He made it to the final of Geneva, defeating Nikoloz Basilashvili among others before losing to Casper Ruud. These results gave Joao 54 ELO rating points, and he climbs 25 places in my rankings to #122.
This week's Upset player of the week is Daniil Medvedev. He was the top seed in Geneva after getting a wildcard, but after getting a bye to round 2, he lost in his opening match. This loss cost Daniil 17 ELO rating points, but he stays at #3 in my rankings.
Other strong performers relative to their rankings are Alex Molcan, Richard Gasquet, Sebastian Baez and Holger Rune.
